In winter, we often encounter touring skiers. Sometimes we observe them from afar, when we ski alone on the groomed ski slopes, sometimes we meet them when we climb up to the hut on foot. But sometimes we simply see only tracks in the whole snow. If in such moments the thought struck you that you too would climb and descend with touring skis, this workshop is perfect for you. Join us, get to know the equipment and technique of ski touring and thus make it easier to decide if this is the sport of your future.

We will start the day with theoretical part, which will be carried out in the premises of Kofler sport in Mojstrana. After that, we will go to a suitable field, where we will use the newly acquired knowledge in practice.
LOCATIONS:
We will hold workshops in Karawanks, especially in the area of the Upper Sava Valley and above Jesenice, or in the Julian Alps in the area of Pokljuka and again in the Upper Sava Valley.
We adapt the location of the workshop to the best conditions for work and display of content. The workshop can be held on the Mojstrana ski slope on the days of presentations of Elan's alpine and touring ski equipment.
If you would like to upgrade your ski touring skills, you can join us on a two-day ski touring course.
For the workshop, the use of ski touring equipment and an avalanche set is mandatory. If you do not have your own equipment, we will lend it to you for the workshop. The avalanche trio and touring ski set is included in the price of the workshop.
The workshop is intended for adults and children from 10 years of age.

Equipment
Personal equipment: winter ski touring clothes (suitable long winter ski touring pants and spare wind pants, at least four layers of clothing, wind jacket, spare clothes, hat, under hat and 2 x gloves), a backpack of at least 35 l, in which go drinks, food, equipment needed for safe safe movement in the winter highlands and other necessary equipment (pocket knife, first aid, sunglasses, sun cream, iron reserve, ...).
Technical equipment: Ski touring set: ski touring skis or split board, ski touring bindings, skins, crampons (if you do not have this equipment, you can rent it from us - not split board).
Avalanche safety set: avalanche beacon, probe, shovel (in case you do not have this equipment, we will provide it and it is included in the price).

Price includes
Guiding from a mountain guide and its costs, rental of necessary ski touring equipment (avalanche kit (beacon, probe, shovel) + skis, skins, bootes, poles, ski crampons), transport from Mojstrana to the location and back (up to 200 km).
Additional payment:
- Transport, if longer than 200 km.
- Additional food and drinks.
