We conduct ice climbing courses either in the MlaÄŤca ice climbing gorge or on the lower sections of the waterfalls in the Julian Alps (depending on ice conditions).
As an option (additional fee) candidates can join a guided ice climbing tour in the waterfalls of the Julian Alps at any time during winter. This may include locations such as under Prisank in Tamar or Prednja glava, depending on ice conditions and participants' skill levels.
Private ice climbing courses can also be arranged upon request.
Courses are typically held on weekdays to avoid crowds and ensure greater safety, with occasional sessions on weekends.

Proper winter mountaineering equipment for waterfall climbing is mandatory for the course. If you don’t have your own gear, we can provide it (excluding winter boots) for the duration of the course, and it is included in the course fee.
The course is suitable for adults and children aged 15 and older.

Private courses need a prior arrangement. At least 3 days in advance.
Equipment
Personal equipment: winter sports - mountaineering clothing (suitable long winter mountaineering pants and spare windproof, at least four layers of clothing, wind jacket, spare clothing, hat, cap and 2 x gloves), winter mountaineering boots where you can install automatic or semi-automatic crampons, a backpack of at least 30 l, where drinks and food go, as well as other equipment necessary for safe movement in the winter mountains (pocket knife, first aid, sunglasses, sunscreen, iron reserve ...).
Technical equipment: climbing harness, helmet, 2 x carabiners with nuts, 1 x endless loop in the strap, crampons (semi-automatic or automatic) 2 x climbing ice axe (in case you do not have this equipment, we provide it).
