For you we choose a ski touring tour most suitable for snow, avalanche and weather conditions and most suitable for your current skiing knowledge and physical condition. The experience certainly does not disappoint anyone.

On weekends, or between the week we take you on daily ski tours to a location with the best snow conditions and in relatively safe avalanche area. We go on the tour with our van and mountain guide with IFMGA license.

LOCATIONS

Ski touring tours are guided in Slovenia, Austria and Italy.

In Slovenia, tours generally take place in the Karavanke, especially in the Upper Sava Valley and above Jesenice, in the Julian Alps and in the area of Pokljuka.

In Austria, the tours take place in Carinthia. Austria, where the most beautiful terrains for weekend ski tours are in Nockberg, the Goldberg group, Reißeck, Ankogel, Hafner and many more.

In Italy, tours take place in the Carnic Alps and the Western Julian Alps.

DURATION

Tours last one day. If you gather your own group, we can do the tour at your request during the week or the weekend.

In Slovenia, approximately from 7.00 to 15.00,

In Austria and Italy, approx. from 6.00 to 18.00, as it is necessary to drive to the starting point from approx. 1 - 2 hours and up to a maximum of 200 km to one side from Mojstrana, depending on the chosen tour.

If you would like to upgrade your ski touring skills, you can join us either on ski touring courses or on ski touring weeks.

Usage of ski touring equipment and an avalanche safety set is mandatory for the tour. If you do not have your own equipment, we will lend it to you for the tour. The avalanche safety set is included in the price. You can rent a ski touring set at our agency.

The tour is intended for adults and children over the age of 15.

Ski tours are divided according to the difference in altitude:

Easy: 600 - 1000 elevation meters.
Moderate: 900 - 1500 elevation meters.

Equipment

Personal equipment: winter ski touring clothes (suitable long winter ski touring pants and spare wind pants, at least four layers of clothing, wind jacket, spare clothes, hat, under hat and 2 x gloves), backpack at least 35 l, in which go drinks, food, equipment needed for safe movement in the winter highlands for 1 day and other necessary equipment (pocket knife, first aid kit, sunglasses, sunscreen…).

Technical equipment: Ski touring set: ski touring skis or split board, ski touring bindings, skins, crampons (if you do not have this equipment, you can rent it from us - not split board).

Avalanche safety set: avalanche beacon, probe, shovel (in case you do not have this equipment, we will provide it and it is included in the price).

Price includes

Guiding from a mountain guide and its costs, transportation from Mojstrana and back up to 200 km, rental of technical equipment (harness, helmet, ice ax, crampons, avalanche safety set).

Additional payment:

Transportation, if longer than 200 km.
Additional food and drinks.
Ski touring set rental (ski touring skis, bindings, boots, crampons, skins, poles).

The tour is carried out with the registration of at least 4 people. In case of 3 people tour is cancelled.
